Terms of service

Last updated 26 October 2026. These terms cover buying and using Crosslane.

Crosslane is made and sold by Weloin Global Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN U72900WB2022PTC257048) with its office in Kolkata (“Weloin”, “we”). By downloading, buying or using Crosslane, you agree to these terms.

What you buy

One payment buys lifetime access to Crosslane on one Mac. The licence is tied to that Mac’s hardware, never expires and needs no account or subscription. Another Mac needs its own activation.

Because the licence is tied to the Mac’s hardware, a hardware change, such as a replaced logic board, can make the Mac look like a different machine. The existing licence then stops working on it, and that Mac needs a new purchase. Updating or reinstalling macOS, or reinstalling Crosslane, doesn’t affect the licence.

Free trial

Every Mac can use every feature free for 7 days from the moment its trial starts. Each Mac gets one trial. When the trial ends, Crosslane stays installed but stops mounting phones until you activate it.

Delivery

Crosslane is software only; nothing is shipped. You download it from this site. After a successful payment your Mac activates by itself within moments, and a tax invoice is emailed to the address you give.

Updates

Updates to Crosslane for Mac are included with your licence at no charge. The app checks this site for new versions and tells you when one is out. Separate products, such as Crosslane for other platforms, may be sold separately.

Using Crosslane

Crosslane opens every phone read-only. It changes files on a phone only after you switch that phone to Read & write, and it goes back to read-only when you unplug. Keep backups of anything that matters: phones, cables and USB connections can fail in the middle of a copy. Use Crosslane only with devices and files you’re allowed to access.

No warranty: use at your own risk

Crosslane is provided “as is” and “as available”, and you use it at your own risk. We make no promises, express or implied, that it will work with every phone or Mac, run without errors or interruption, or suit any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Weloin, its directors and its staff are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using, or being unable to use, Crosslane. This includes lost, corrupted or deleted files; damage to a phone, Mac or other device; lost data, profit, business or time; and any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, even if we were told it was possible. You are responsible for keeping backups of your files.

Where the law does not allow a liability to be excluded, our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Refunds

See refunds and cancellation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Crosslane changes; the date at the top shows the current version. A change never takes away a licence you’ve already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them or about Crosslane falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, India.
